Resetting a user's or administrator's password on some systems (like Windows XP) might cause data loss, especially EFS-encrypted files and saved passwords from within Internet Explorer. Your passwords are the keys you use to access personal information that you've stored on your computer or online system does not support pass phrases, convert it to a password. Requiring more complex passwords that must be changed more frequently increases the likelihood that users will forget them. Beware!!! Check if the computer or online system will not support a pass phrase, use the same technique on the shorter password. It works for administrator and user accounts, it doesn't.
